St. Joseph's Children's Hospital Charity Run with Jovany

Jovany Ruiz runs a meter for the kids treated at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital each year — tens of thousands of them. He starts alone in the early morning on Davis Islands, and for the final 5K, the city joins him: families, kids, athletes, anyone with legs and a reason.

After the run: a field day, food, and treats — a free community race built around a fundraising push for the hospital’s rehab center expansion, alongside Thrve and the Little St. Nick Foundation.
