Teams of ten. A full marathon — 26.1 miles — split across rowing machines under blacklights in Ybor City, with DJs, food trucks, and a few hundred people who came to sweat for something.

Started by CrossFit Games athletes Jenn and Sam Dancer, brought to Tampa with Project Focus: adaptive and community divisions row side by side, and proceeds fund education, life skills, and workforce programs for young people with developmental disabilities.

It’s the rare fundraiser that looks like a party because it is one. Nobody has to be talked into coming back.
